Addie (the former Orphan Annie) - is doing great! She made herself right at home. She loves playing fetch in the back yard and has learned quickly how to use the doggie door. She does very well at night sleeping in her dog bed. The first night she got up twice to come over and give me a kiss but returned right back to her bed. I think she was just checking to make sure I was still there. She has had many visitors and sits eagerly waiting to be petted. She knows she has to wait and be calm before getting any attention from them. You and Scott did a good job training her. She listens very well.
She has been really calm around the house. Cyndy's grandson was over and he was running around like crazy and Addie just laid down and watched. They get along great. She has some play dates set up for this weekend with a Labrador and a Golden Retriever. I hope they do well so they can be her regular buddies. We are working on walking without pulling so much. She's a city slicker now and has to learn some new rules, but she is smart and catches on quickly. She is learning that once we get to the park she gets to run with more freedom, but walking through the neighborhoods she has to stay next to me.
She has been so much fun and exactly what I was looking for! She is such a good girl… and beautiful too. Sorry to tell you but she will NOT be returning to you :) I know it was sad to see her go but know that she will be here forever and have great life.
