September 2009 Update:
Hello, I just wanted to send you some new pics of Lucy (fka Dharma). She really enjoys her toys especially her balls and frisbee! Oh, I cannot forget her favorite hobby of chasing the cats..hahaha. Believe me, they do not take much chase from her, they stop and stand up to her, it is a sight. Anyway, Lucy is still a joy and bringing many smiles to our family!

I just wanted to send an update on Lucy. We brought Lucy home on July 10th of 2008. Well, she has completed her manners and obedience with flying colors. January 7th will be her 5th personal protection class and she is doing well in that too! Lucy has really been a big help to our puppy mill rescue "Bennett". They are best friends and love to play. Bennett has quickly picked up many of Lucy's mannerisms and it is so funny to see. Lucy loves playing with her ball and stuffed toys, she loves sleeping on her bed or any other bed she can get in. We love her so much, she is such a joy! I have attached a couple of pictures for you to see.

Hi Holly,
I just wanted to let you know Lucy aka Darhma is doing great and we love her. She is fitting in wonderfully to our home. Everyone cannot believe how smart she is! Lucy has mastered the sit command already and she comes when called. Her obedience/manners class begins July 29th. We have found she is not fond of her new kennel, she cries and howls for a while when she is put in it. The only time she goes in there is when I leave for work. Lucy sleeps on the other side of the bed at night on the floor. I just cannot believe how well she has adjusted to us. Bennett and her have not played that much yet....although, I feel it will happen! I will keep you informed on her progress...she really is a diamond in the rough!
