Hi Anita,
Everything went wonderful. So good in fact that we adopted her last night at 7pm. She's a really good girl! And a sweetheart! We already got 3 compliments on how beautiful she is when we went on our first walk last night. She's curious and excited about the cats but not in an aggressive way. Oliver and Cali (our cats) both stood their ground. Cali did stay under the bed until she went in her crate last night but started coming out this morning- they are slowly meeting each other. Oliver and Anya have sniffed noses quite a lot and he is not concerned with walking around in front of her. Just once in awhile she gets over excited and then everyone gets a little scared, although no bad encounters yet. I think they are all going to be buddies by the end of the month.
It is so awesome to have Anya as our new family member in the house, she fits in so great with the us. Shawn is taking her for a walk at lunch today and I can't wait to have all weekend with her and wow what a beautiful weekend to be outside.
We definitely need to get all three of us into dog obedience school though. Oh, and we are taking lots of pics to update Kain and everyone at GSRAW! Thanks for all your help in making our home happier.
