Maya (fka Brandi)
GSRAW Note: Maya (formally known as Brandi) is one of those special dogs that makes what we do feel so GOOD! Maya came to us a very sick dog. With lots of love, medical attention and time to heal with her foster family, Maya is now a champion ball catcher and the love of her new "furever" family.
People sometimes think they could never foster, because they couldn't give up a dog, but you never really give the dog up - that dog stays in your heart forever.
Wanted to let you know that Maya has adjusted well. She and Grischa are the best of friends - he LOVES having a young, energetic sister to play with! Charlie & I also love her - she is the perfect dog for us! We have been working hard on leash manners, and she is learning quickly. Dr. Brown is also happy with how she's doing. She has gained a little more weight, and is not having any other problems!
