Bogey (fna Jackson)

Things are going great...he can be a little troublemaker, but he is coming around and is just adorable.  He has not had any accidents in the house which is awesome.  We love him!  One change has been his name.  We decided he does not look like a Jackson.  He is so happy looking that we went with Bogey and he is already responding to it.

We were home all weekend and he spent most of it outside.  Jamie brushed him both days.  We have a route that we walk a lot after work and on weekends, which can range from 2.5 to 4.1 miles depending on which way we go.  We did that both days and he loved it and it definitely took the edge off him.  He was crashed out most of Sat. night after we got back.  The neighbors were all coming out of the woodwork over the weekend to meet him and he is very popular!

I was off yesterday, but golfed in the morning so that was the first time he was alone at our place.  He was in his kennel for about six hours without incident.  (other than crying/barking as I was leaving and so happy when I got home).  Today will be a little longer, but only until about 3 pm because Jamie gets done early.  Tomorrow I can stop home for lunch and Thursday I’m off in the afternoon.  We thought it would be easier on him to slowly build to the full day.

As you can see, I could ramble on about Bogey all day.  I think he and I are already best buds and Jamie is really on board now too.  Thanks for everything.

Todd
