Lilly
Here's a family picture and another one that I took recently for the website, sorry that it took so long, this month has been crazy!
We are absolutely in love with Lilly, she is the sweetest girl. It is so fun to watch her discover new things, like riding in the car with her head out the window, at first she would just enjoy the air coming in and has slowly worked her way up to where, now, her whole head is out the window!
She met her doggie cousins (3 of them) and absolutely had a blast running around for hours on end! She sure does have a lot of puppy left in her, and that comes out when there's other dogs around! But when we're at home she is just the perfect dog, she wants nothing but to be where ever you are and do whatever you're doing.
You were right about her not barking, she only lets out one bark when she's put in her kennel and we're going or when she hears the turkeys walking around on the crunchy leaves outside! Her favorite thing is to chase the turkeys (there are about 20 of them) out of the yard and make them fly back up into their nests. One day I will get a picure, it's soooooo funny! And the sound of them flying away is incredible.
She loves to chase the cats around but isn't a pest about it, and gives it up quick.....which is good.
In the time that we have had her, her fur has went from a brillo pad to a shiny coat that lies down nice and flat! It probably has to do with her food, and we also noticed it change about a week after she was spayed. Her hair is so soft, you wouldn't even believe it!
Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt such a special dog! We will love her forever!
