Saber (fna Walter)

Hello, my family and I adopted Saber (aka- Walter) for you in late October of 2009 as a puppy. We were all nervous about having a new puppy in the house, but I am happy to say Saber has been a wonderful blessing to our family. He started out going to the vet pretty often because he had an infection at the site of the umbilical hernia surgery that took many weeks to heal. Then the poor little guy had whipworm twice which took several weeks to workout of his system, but he was a fighter through everything.

He chases the cats (3 of them) quite a bit, but every once in awhile he gets ganged up on by them! I think he has learned not to be too rough with them or they will fight back. My kids just love him to death! His favortie thing is waking them up in the morning for school. He loves to jump on the bed and give them kisses hopefully he won't wake them up too early in the summer!

He has been to obedience class and is doing well. We are working on training off leash at the dog park, but of course he loves to play with all the other dogs. He loves going to doggy daycare to hang out with all his buds. He even has a girlfriend named Sophie! Who would have thought!

Anyway, just checking in to let you know we are so happy Saber is a part of our family and we loves to spoil him rotten. You never know we may be looking for a brother or sister for him soon. Thanks for all your hardwork,

saber
