Sorry I'm slow getting this to you. It's been a busy but fun week getting to know our new little girl Sophie. This morning, I let her out for her morning potty, and she gave me a "what the...." look, as she looked out at the snow in the yard. She wasn't too sure about the stuff, but she's learning quickly, which seems to be a trait of hers.
Since we've had German Shepherds before, we knew how smart they are as a breed, but her curiosity is pretty amazing. She is doing better with her new brother "Napoleon" the poodle. They're still sorting out the pecking order, but they seem to be doing better. (I even caught them snuggling on the bed last night!!
We think she’s an absolutely beautiful girl, and her personality has even won over our old German Shepherd Becky, which speaks pretty highly of Sophie’s demeanor.
We really want to thank Jodie for introducing her to us, and for her help and suggestions on making her more comfortable in her new surroundings. We're very proud of our new little girl, and thank all of the people who work so hard to give better lives to this great breed. We appreciate your hard work
