In November 2010, I was found wondering around and was taken to a veterinary clinic. I was skin & bones, no hair, weighting only 38lbs. & was scared. From there I went to a GSRAW foster home. My foster mom, Mary did a great job in nursing me back to health and taught me that not all people hurt you. Now I love life.

I found my FOREVER home & Mom! Boy, what a great place. I never thought there could be such a place. Food twice a day, water, nice warm bed & great play mates. Mom is the best! I can play rough with her. HOWEVER, there is the thing called behaving. I have to learn to sit, down, stand, stay, come, heal and a lot more. Therefore, off to doggie school I went with Mom. What a lot of dogs in one place, and all those people! I like looking around, smelling other dogs and wanting to play. Mom had other ideals. I’m learning and trying my best to do things right. I know I can do it but it will take a little time.

“A little diamond in the rough.” . I love playing with my playmate, Coddo. He is a BIG German Shepherd and old so I have to try and not play so rough. Right? Me, not play so rough. Come on. I’m a puppy. That’s what we are supposed to do. Then there is this thing called a cat (Whiskers). I love chasing him. I keep hearing “leave the cat, leave the cat, and leave the cat.” Mom keep asking me, “Don’t you understand or hear me?” Yeah, but it sooo much fun! Therefore, life is good.

To all you other foster dogs out there, don’t give up. You will find your FOREVER home and you will be loved and cared for like a King or a Queen. Love & Kisses----Stevie
