Hey Belinda and Joni,
Happy new year!
Please find attached a picture of Bella playing in some East Coast snow! I recently had some surgery, which was done in Boston, so Bella and I trekked to New England together and she has been helping me recover :)
We had around 14 inches of snow last week, and Bella got into her "herding" mode (where she thinks I'm a sheep and I'm straying from the pack), and I caught her in the act ;)
All is well, and she is being treated like a royal princess by my family (I've been told she will not be allowed to leave when I leave...).

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weekend!
I was just sitting here drinking coffee and listening to some music, and I saw "Upside Down Dog", aka Ms. Bella laying on her doggie bed, feet and legs in the air (her favorite position to nap in), and said, "I should say Hi to Joni and Belinda!".
Bella is doing GREAT! I can't believe how perfect she is... I call her my big bear, because all she wants to do is snuggle and follow me around. At night, she comes into my room and gives me a lick to make sure I'm ok, and then goes back to her bed. She is absolutely awesome at the dog park, and is getting along with the other doggies. I take her downtown in Madison for walks, and I usually get stopped no less than 3 times so someone can tell me how beautiful she is or ask what kind of dog she is, and no one passes by without smiling. Dogs are magical, and Bella carries a special magic that really draws people in. She no doubt brings a smile to my face every time I look at her or think about her. What can I say...I'm in love ;)
Her potty problems have been solved, and I think she just needed to settle in. My dog walker, who comes over when I go out of town loves her so much that she takes Bella back home with her, and her roommates all take turns walking her (she is usually pretty pooped after a day at her house...she has around 5 roommates!).
Other than that, I don't have much else to report. Thanks for helping us get together.
