Hi
Bob!
It ' s been two full days now so I wanted to send you a picture of
Greta and Lauren and let you know how she ' s doing! We can
' t thank you enough for all the love you gave her at your home!
It made me so sad to take her from you because I knew how much she
loved you and Sadie! I can tell she is missing you and has
been sort of picky about eating, well unless its a treat :)
But more and more she is coming out of her shell.
I ' m so glad you told us about the tennis balls because she is so
funny with them. This morning she was barking and
play-bowing at the ball while I was rolling it across the living
room floor! She already knows the boundaries of our
yard and loves the open field behind our house. She stays
right by us and if she wanders a bit all I have to do is say her
name and she turns around and comes back!
Greta has also met a few dogs in the neighborhood and did great
with that as well! Also she met our neighbor ' s kids ages
11, 8, and 1 1/2 and she was WONDERFUL WITH THEM! Then I
watch 2 little boys a couple days a week and they came over to
meet her and they are 2 yrs old and 7 months old. Once again
Greta was awesome! She sat in Lauren ' s room while we
played in there. She was right by the play kitchen set and
the kids were busy all around her. She was busy licking
their heads and watching them. Her and Lauren are becoming
fast friends and Lauren loves to play ball with her. I can '
t believe what a kind, loving, gentle soul Greta has. She is
a dream dog! I am just so thankful to you and GSRAW.
We love her so much I can ' t imagine what we did w/o her!!
She was well well well worth the wait!
Sorry this got a little long but I wanted to let you know how
great she ' s doing and I ' ve got one picture attached of her and
Lauren from Sunday when we got home! I ' ve got to get more
pictures of her outside and I ' ll send them to you!
I hope your new foster dog is doing well!!
A million thanks,
Amanda
