Kazuya

Kaz came to foster care as a stray. He had never experienced the good things in life.  In his several weeks of foster care, Kaz received needed medical attention and learned to live in the house.  Kaz also quickly learned to appreciate the good things in life, like laying on the couch, comfy dog beds, toys, treats, and playing with both people and other dogs.  Kaz really didn't know how to play when he came to us, and its was such a joy to see him have fun.  Kaz was smart, sweet and loved getting human attention.

Kaz had advanced cancer by the time he came to us.  And although he had already found a possible forever home, he succumbed to cancer quickly and died in foster care.  It was an honor to care for such a wonderful elder statesman of the GSD breed, and a comfort to know that his last weeks were filled with comfort, caring, and happiness.
