We just love Moose and are so thankful we found him--he couldn't have been a better fit for us. He's a good advertisement for GSRAW too. People are CONSTANTLY commenting on how beautiful he is, and where did we get him. Hopefully Moose will encourage others to rescue a GS.
These pictures were taken up near our cabin on Lake Superior. I don't think Moose had ever been near big water before. When we first took him down to the beach, he couldn't figure out what to do with the waves coming in, so in true Moose fashion, he just started barking at them! Like the waves were supposed to be intimidated by him) By the end of the first day, he was actually in and splashing around with us.
The rock picture has Alex, Mara, and Matthew along with their cousins. Moose wanted to climb up the rock face to join them, but there was no good footing. The other pictures are with Alex (and Tom) while we were out for a little boat ride. We've kept Moose pretty busy, so you don't have to worry about him being bored. He's probably missing the quiet of your house!
The kids have found that Moose REALLY loves football. He's already chewed up several of Alex's stash (one can never have too many footballs you know)! Everyone loves having him around. The older kids don't mind staying home by themselves now, and Matthew loves snuggling with him. All-in-all, it has been a great fit!
