Rocky
Hi Bernadette -

Just wanted to tell you that Rocky is doing great!  At first he was a little jealous of my mother in law's dog and would jump if we played with her or held her in front of him, but he is getting better with that each day.  When they are playing together by themselves he gives her kisses and plays well with her, he just wants me and John to pay more attention to him.  He did take most of Chi Chi's toys and moved them to his space, which she didn't mind since she only plays with 1 or 2 of the dozens that she has, so she didn't mind sharing.  He only tore up a couple of them and once we got him a rawhide bone, he stopped chewing up the toys.  Today, John gave him a bath and he did really well.

He loves running around the backyard and has been going for walks each day.  Yesterday we took him for an hour car ride and he was a little scared, I wonder if he thought he was coming home again, but today
went for a short car ride to the pond for a walk and he was totally fine.  He recognizes the house as soon as he comes home and is getting more and more comfortable each day roaming throughout the house.  If
the neighbor's dogs are out, they all meet by the fence and bark at each other and he won't come when I call him, but we are working on that, I'm sure once we start obedience training he'll do better.  And he loves chewing on his rawhide bone or pig's ear.  One night he did chew out some of the stuffing on the comforter I had in the bedroom that he sleeps on, but I changed his bed and put a sheet over it and he's been fine ever since.  He's so cute and affectionate, we are so happy to have him as part of our family.

Attached are some pictures I took last week before the snow came, I'll take some more in the next few days and send them to you.

How is it working out with the new puppy you are fostering?

Thanks again for everything!
Arlene and John
