so, my newly adopted, 6 year old "son," bud, is settling in nicely. his former "foster family' told me their shepherd hasn't eaten since bud left. very sad.... but things are goooood here. he's getting along well with "my girl" (9 year old saff) and getting lots of love and structure. a nice, calm, friendly, surely to become playful boy in need of just a little training. and what a great deep bark! I couldn't have asked for more!
... and he seems happy/content to be here (though it has only been three days)!
