We're a very happy family with Jaeger (Elliott's new name) and Willow! Both pups are settling in with us at our new home and are getting lots of love from Mom and Dad. Willow has warmed up considerably and now enjoys tummy rubs just like Jaeger. She's fast becoming Dad's princess, as she especially likes attention from Ted. She likes her rubs from Mom, too of course. Jaeger is such a happy, playful pup and he is often smiling and rolling around. Since we work from home, they get to go outside several times a day and they sure love it. They are very smart pups and have already learned several commands. We're teaching them in German and so far they've learned German sit, lie down, go out, go in, go potty, get down, food and treat. We're working on fetch, speak, quiet and heel right now too. They're almost fully potty trained now (no accidents in over a week) and love playing together and playing with their many toys. We play inside, outside and have started taking neighborhood walks to learn leash training. In a couple weeks, we'll be going to training classes at Dogs Best Friend and we know they'll love it. They are being pretty good toward the cats, although they are not in the same rooms most of the time. That's fine since our new house is big enough for everyone! Willow has become more timid around the cats after they hissed at her. The pups are growing too. At the vet last week they weighed in at 28 and 32 lbs. Thanks again, we're glad we could give these sweeties a happy home! Sincerely, Robin and Ted |
