Sarge… how do I even start. You came from a home who decided to move and leave you behind. Jo quickly snatched you up from the humane society that they left you at. I remember the day I got the call from her as if it was yesterday saying there was an older big male who would she was sure be a quick adoption. I had just got rid of a horrible foster and wasn't looking forward to another so soon, but gave in a decided it would be an easy adoption and I'd give you a chance. Well, after months of work out plans, numerous adoption applications, an adoption with a horrible return home to me, and my garbage cans tipped over everyday, I decided to keep you. You became my best friend. You soon became a pony to my son, a rug to be plucked by my daughter, and a good babysitter for new fosters to make sure they listened well. We did everything together, you came to work with me, went to 4-H meetings, went to the farm riding, and did errands. You made our house become a home where we didn't get any sales people... kept the fed-ex man off the porch, and made the mail lady stay in her car.  All by your friendly bark! I'll tell you I felt 10 times safer in my home than I ever have. (if they only knew, haha) You were a big gentle boy who just had a mean look because of your size but would never hurt anyone. Unfortunately you were called up to heaven, you were needed. I didn't understand it and I still don't.  I beat myself up everyday boy.  I should have known.  I wish I could helped you before it became too late.  I’m so so sorry Sarge.  I truly miss you everyday I can walk out the door with out falling, or coming home and not having to pick up garbage! You were a great man, and I love you! RIP big boy, until we meet again!
