Hi Mom,
I will still think of you as the first mom I ever had. You taught me that there are good people out there willing to take the time with a dog that has potential. My new home is great, I am settling in and spent this evening laying next to the couch. I found that my new mom can reach me and pet me and Penny at the same time. Penny and I are getting along great. We haven't growled at each other or shown our teeth. Penny did show me how to jump on the bed. I found by doing that I am able to see my new mom at eye level and give her lots of kisses. (and smell her hair) I also helped her make the bed. Penny and I ran around and chased each other yesterday afternoon, and boy did we have fun. Today was a little muddy, so we weren't out as much. There are so many toys in this house, I just keep collecting them and bring them back to the area by my crate. I can pick a new one when ever the spirit moves. I slept for most the night next to my mom's bed. She stroked my head and told me what a great dog I am and how handsome I am. She made sure I settle in. In the middle of the night, I went and slept in my crate. I felt more comfortable, but I am going to try to spend the whole night in the bedroom tonight. I helped with dishes tonight. My mom left them in the sink and so I made sure they were rinsed. I wouldn't want the food to dry on. I know each day I will feel more and more at home, but I want to thank you for all of the love you gave me these past few weeks. Because of you I was able to find a forever home.
