Charger

We adopted Charger in the Summer of 2001. Charger has grown from a clumsy puppy into a 85# clumsy adult with a heart of gold. He graduated from Obedience class in the fall. His favorite way to pass the time is to play with squeaky toys, ripping them part to get that noisy thing out of them :)
Charger loves to give big wet kisses. Once he knows you he loves to jump up and "grab" your shoulders to hug you...but only when Mom or Dad say it's ok.  Charger just got to experience snow for the first time (so it appears)..the first time he did not want to go out on the deck. But now it is run out the door, dive face first with mouth wide open so he can get a mouth full of it.  Then when mom or dad say it is time to come in he lays in the farthest corner of the yard on my back hoping they will not want to walk out a get him, then he can play even longer in this great snow. He is the center of attention no matter where we go. But most of all he loves playing all day with his sister Allie McBeal. He loves to tease her with his squeaky balls and if she has a better one he will walk up and play tug of war until she gives up. Also, Charger has to protect Mom and Dad from the vacuum cleaner.  If we put him in his kennel when we clean, as soon as we let him out he goes
and "attacks" the vacuum cleaner by nipping at it and barking in that same fierce puppy bark he had a year ago!!!!!!
Who would have ever thought a dog could have so much personality!

Here's a painting of Charger and Allie done by Artist C. Alan Jachinski of Clearlythe1.
