She's a great dog. Very friendly and listens well. She looks like a horse as she gallops around the back yard. You should have seen her run across the pool cover, sort of like a trampoline as she hit it full stride. She was also jumping over the small brook that runs through the back yard without touching the water. We were laughing so hard as she was tearing around the back yard!! She has been laying out by the fence watching the golfers, trying to figure out why they keep hitting their balls into the pond! Pretty soon all of the leaves will be in and the golf course will be hidden from view. I think she really likes it here and we are enjoying her company as she has a great personality. Heidi is not sharing our enthusiasm, but she is a good girl, too, so she'll warm up to her once she realizes that we still love her. We have read up on the introduction of another dog to the established dog and we're watching Heidi assert her pack status, but nothing to be worried about. Greta gets it, so it will work out. I'll send some pictures once we get back from vacation. My mother is coming over from Ohio to sit with the dogs (that's what we tell my youngest son anyway) and I don't have any qualms on leaving her with my mom as she is so good. She is taller than Heidi, and longer, but she is like half the size in width. We'll get some meat on her bones though.
I just wanted to thank you again; you gals are doing a wonderful service to these dogs and I know they appreciate it. We do!
