Harley
An update on Harley:
It's amazing how well Harley has blended into the family. He is very laid back. He's got practically constant companionship with us home all the time, so I'm sure that's helping. He seemed a little anxiety-ridden the first evening or so...just panting a lot, and not always able to easily settle down to relax, as though he thought he'd be going somewhere soon. My dad breezed in yesterday afternoon, and Harley woofed at him a little, and was very suspicious. Then my dad sat and petted him and he was fine, but I was glad to see that bit of protectiveness kicking in already! And Harley seems to get it that J is the Alpha of the family. He whimpers a bit when J leaves, and is always very interested in what J is doing and where he's going. All in all, things are great. I'll take & send pictures soon. Harley has an appointment at the vet tomorrow, to get flea & heartworm stuff & to get his vaccinations on file there.
