Katte (fna Alex)

Hi Sue and Tim,

Here are some pictures of Katte that were taken a couple of weeks ago.   She has gained a couple of pounds since these were taken.   She weighed 86.7 lbs on the day of her surgery.

Katte (formally known as Alex) has stolen our hearts.  I now understand why she is such a tall girl.  She has to be to hold all the love and sweetness she has inside of her.   Her temperament is one of gentleness and pure love.  There are GSD that have a long string of titles after their names, but Katte is a class champion with the only title that matters - FOL (Full of Love).    Our Katte-Lady also is a CCP (certified couch potato)!.

She has settled into our home and routine as if she has been here always.  We go to the dog park every day and she has her group of pals that she looks forward to seeing.  She likes to hang out in the back yard, but doesn't want to be out there by herself.  She would rather come in the house and be by us.  As we talked on the phone today, she is recovering from her hip surgery.  We started taking short little walks each day.   We just returned from a walk down the block.  I suspect she will soon be back at the dog park chasing with her buddies.  Meanwhile, lots of TLC will be the order of the day.

Katte is such a joy and we are so happy to have found her and to have her in our lives.

Thank you, Sue and Tim, for your support.
