Lillie is doing SO well! She is a ton of fun :) Mugz is loving having a friend to play with and Lillie is really thriving with Mugzy and Luka (and me and Kirk). Lillie always snuggles with us on the couch (as you will see by the pictures) and she even shares the couch with the cat! Lillie is doing very well in obedience class and she is one of the star pupils - I am not surprised. At home, she is doing amazingly well. She is still sleeping on a comforter in our floor in the bedroom all nite without incident. She is getting used to the kennel during the day and that is much, much better. Things are super and we couldn't be happier! Our fence should be built very soon. We did run into some problems with the city and we have to go before the board of appeals on Monday to see if we can build it on the lot line in the back yard - it is a loooonnng story!!! Either way, we are building it; it is just a matter of the perimeter. Other than that, nothing much to report. She is gaining weight and the vet said she is very healthy. So, I will send the pictures so they can be out on the website and we will be in touch.

Hello to everyone at GSRAW! We wanted to thank you all for helping to connect us with Lillie and to share with you how things are going. Well, it is hard to believe that Lillie has only been with us for a little over a week because she certainly seems to feel as if she has been here forever - and that is a good thing! She is an absolute joy and we are thrilled to have her as part of our family. Lillie has very quickly bonded to us and her sister Mugzy (dog) and brother Luka (cat). She and Mugzy play incessantly and they lay together on the couch all the time. Of course, this is when we are trying to share the couch with them as well! Lillie gets along great with Luka and she has never been even remotely aggressive towards him so that is wonderful! She has such a gentle and loving demeanor; she wants to cuddle, kiss and snuggle all the time - we love it! Lillie has been great with company and, although she barks a little at first, she settles right down. So, we know she is a good guard dog but she is calm when the visitors are welcome! Lillie loves to be close to us and she is definitely very comfortable with us as her new parents. It is as if she was meant to be in our home because we have all become very close quickly. So, again, thank you for the wonderful match we have found in Lillie. She is a delight and we look forward to many super years together. We will be sending more pictures as we get them. Take care!
P.S. We have given Lillie the middle name "Sue", after her foster mom!
