Hi! My name is Maverick and I am a 10 month old pup. I came to GSRAW from a shelter where my first owner had surrendered me. Sadly, she had to move & couldn't take me with. The shelter where she surrendered me was crowded. They called GSRAW to see if I could go to one of their foster homes.
It didn't take very long for me to find my "forever" home though. My new mom & dad fostered me for a month and agreed to keep me. And I have to admit - it's really cool to be here. They have 2 cats, but they don't bug me at all. I get to sleep on the loveseat in the living room and watch the world go by out the window if I want.
Wow! Life is great! My new mom & dad have lots of friends that own other dogs. So I have made new friends already and have lots of playtime. I also experienced my first snowfall recently. Man! Did I play! It was awesome.
And I can't forget to mention the toys & treats! Mom & Dad have bought me plenty of toys to play with. And I get bones & pig ears when I've been a good boy in house while they're gone.
