Dear Everyone, Sammy and I (Rosie) are doing well! Sammy is still afraid of thunder and lightning, so the flash on the camera scares her, but her human, Laura, managed to get a picture of her curled up in her favorite corner. Sammy's human also took both pictures of me. My eyes look a little funny in the first one because she's not that good with camera angles, but look how shiny my coat is in the second one! I even have feathering on my tail and a small ruff on my neck. Sammy is having her second puppy-hood, so she likes to play ball a lot and just run outside and play with her human. I'm having a good time running my human, Mary, ragged. I have a lot of extra energy to expend, so I need to play a lot. I'd play all the time if I could, but humans seem to need to rest much more than we dogs!

We are very happy with Sammy. The cats and Senior dog all accept and like her. The people here love her because she is always trying very hard to please. As for the “problem child” (Rosie), I would say that she is gradually getting the idea of being a good house dog. The cats are starting to reappear in the main floor, and the dogs are starting to accept her as long as she doesn't bump or chomp. She continues at weekly dog class in an effort to make her socially acceptable to other people and other dogs. |
