Shadow
Update 09/14/06
Dear Gailee: Hope all is well at your house. Just wanted to tell you the latest on Shadow. She lost about two pounds since we've had her weighed at the vet's last visit a week ago when she got her booster shot. So she has only two more pounds to get down to 75# which should be a good weight for her. She was a good girl at the vet's too. She really likes to go for car rides with me when I shop and I can take her now that it's cooler. Also, the last thunder storm didn't seem to bother her very much as long as she could be lying near me. Today for the first time we left her home alone and uncrated for just over an hour. I just knew she would be okay because she never gets into any trouble when we are home with her and she has been so good in the car when I leave her to go into a store. I can't say enough good things about her. She has brought so much happiness into our lives. She also has learned that she should bring her tennis ball back into the house after we get through playing fetch in the yard. I was never able to teach Sara to do that; she was always thinking about doing something else I guess. So that's it for now.  How are all of your doggie pals doing at your house? Let me know when you have the time to write an e-mail.  Take care.  Carole
Dear Gailee,  Just wanted to get you up to speed on the latest developments at Shadow's house.  She is really our "puppy" more and more with each passing day.  She is a pleasure to have around and is very eager to please.  We talk to her all the time and when we do,  that tail really gets a workout.  She also gives us alot of sloppy kisses.  Her presence in our house has really been a positive one.  We are so lucky to have found each other.  Thanks so much for taking such good care of her before we got her.  By the way, how are you and the "boys"?  I have told so many people about Tim and the way he sits on your couch that your ears must be ringing.  I have to smile everything I think about it.  Also, how is Justice coming along?

That's it for now.  More later.  Take care and thanks again for everything.  Carole
