Opening a pet grooming business has been nothing less than a dream come true for Amy and I. Amy graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming in December of 2007, and we opened our doors in January 2008. Every day since then has been absolutely wonderful… and fun! Every day there are new friends to be made and, of course, new dogs for us to pamper and love. Since we both adore animals, there couldn’t have been a better line of work for us to go into!
We were familiar with the G.S.R.A.W. because of a dear friend of ours, who has been volunteering and fostering them for five years. After opening the salon, we knew right away that we wanted to get involved with the organization, and do something to help the rescue efforts. In the meantime, Amy was introduced to a four month old shepherd puppy that had been rescued. She fell in love with him at first sight, and started the adoption process within a couple of days. Zeus is now a happy member of Amy’s family!
L.A. Grooming is proud to join in the efforts of the G.S.R.A.W. in the on-going work they do to find loving homes for German Shepherds. We would like to help the fosters, and also the adopters, by offering grooming services at a discounted flat rate… $38.00 for adult dogs and $20.00 for puppies (0 – 1 yr). In addition, each dog brought into L.A. Grooming thru G.S.R.A.W. will receive a free collar and leash!
We would like to thank the G.S.R.A.W. for the opportunity to work with them and for the wonderful job they do in finding good homes for rescued animals.
