Save a K9 vet

Its events like this that really brings home the importance of saving just one dog and sweetness found in making new friends.

At this year's DogFest foster mom Sue was reunited with Tank, her foster when he came to GSRAW as a rescued puppy last year. This now 16 month old recognized Sue right away and was such a happy, squirmy boy when he saw her. It was so sweet and brought a few tears to everyone witnessing the reunion.

Thanks to his forever family who brought Tank to this year's event to visit some old friends. You made our day!

Pepsi is running a grant program, and has accepted Save-A-Vet as a candidate. Please take a few minutes to vote for them at the link below. With this funding Save a Vet will be able to build a facility, that will not only house retired K9 soldiers, but provide housing for disabled military and law enforcement veterans to help care for these forgotten soldiers.
